Seafood Hotdogs & Pumpkin Carving

I love finding somewhere to eat where the portions are BIG and the food is good. That’s exactly what you get when you dine in at Big Man’s in Harpersville, Alabama. Big Man’s is known for his burgers, steaks and seafood platters including alligator. In fact, he has the best tasting gator I’ve ever had. You can get it grilled or fried, but either way it will want you coming back for more. Big Man’s can even cater your next breakfast or other event and have your tailgate meal ready before kickoff! Now who would think a hotdog joint would have some awesome burgers? Tony’s Hotdog’s in Pelham burgers are so big that I can NOT finish one, but those slaw dogs…I must order them 2 at a time. The com

Down Home Eats & Shaved Ice

Now if you love a delicious meat and 3, you must make a stop in Chelsea, AL to Hartley’s Down Home Kitchen Sunday-Friday they serve up your favorites like fried chicken, Salisbury steak and gravy, mac and cheese and home-made banana pudding. Authentic Thai, Korean & Jamaican Food

There are soooo many delicious choices that you MUST come extra hungry to try them all. All of the food at Red Bowl are Korean or Chinese food. Red Bowl also has a grocery store attached (Asian Supermarket) so you can try to make some of those items at home. They are located on Greensprings Hwy near the I-65 exit and you can only get “Dim Sum”

Fiesta, Chicken Salad & Pies

Fiesta Birmingham is one of the biggest day long event that celebrates Hispanic culture, music and food! And being the foodie that I am, it is one of my favorite holidays to try a variety of spicy foods while listening to some great music in the park. I showcased 2 food vendors who will be cooking up some good eats. Taco Morro Loco & Mi Pueblo Supermarket will be on hand making authentic tacos and tamales. When it comes to sweet potato pies, Patti LaBelle is not the only one who can make you hit a high note. A new Birmingham startup company Edolyn’s Pies can also satisfy your sweet tooth with her sweet potato, lemon chess and pecan pie. She’s been usually her family recipe that’s been around
