Dine Magic City Week

#DineMagicCityWeek has officially kicked off! Now it's time to call your friends and grab your spouse and take part in these amazing local special meal deals. All of the participating restaurants are my favorite and taste great! You have until Saturday, Feb. 3rd to enJOY this event!

If you doesn't love Mexican food right? Check out what Cantina Tortilla Grill is serving up for #DineMagicCityWeek. And yes I really did ask the owner did he have cornbread to go with his pinto beans. I am a huge fan of authentic Mexican food but I am still a country girl raised in the south! There's also Italian food on the 9 day eat festival. Carrabbas Italian Grill may be a chain, but they only have one location here in the Birmingham area and the food has a non-chain flavor. Both of the sauces have a very rich creamy flavor. Of course, that piece of chocolate cake may not be good for the hips but it taste great on my lips. Here's a little secret that should make you proud, I actually ate the entire salad! So I am trying look as fit as the owner of Carrabbas! But I can't believe you can actually get a soup or salad, one of those pasta dishes and dessert for under $20! That a steal. You can afford to take several folks out to dinner at those prices!

Now, if you are looking for something on the lighter side, you must see my friends at Heat-N-Eat Healthy! I love the fact you can have a delicious meal without dirtying the kitchen. No mess and low calorie! On their #DineMagicCityWeek special, they have cornbread gumbo to a variety of vegan and paleo bowls. Sorry but not sorry I am a true meatarian, plus I just told you earlier how I like my cornbread! Now this is a great opportunity to grab some delicious casseroles for the family or if you're like me you can keep it for yourself!

Now it would not be #DineMagicCityWeek if we did not have my friends on from Cajun Seafood House. OMG, that is hands down the best, freshest seafood restaurant in Birmingham. The drinks are amazing, all of the apps and entrees and his red snapper with those creamy mashed potatoes taste like the kind I make for my family. It's definitely not out of a box and for the price it is unbelievable. I really do want you to call me for lunch or dinner when you go!
