Some of the MVP’s in my world are locally family owned restaurateurs. Paul Gagliano has been operating Seafood & ChickenBox since 1972. His brother Paul worked along with him until he retired in 2016. But for 45 years they have been frying hand battered chicken and seafood in the Birmingham area. Mardi Gras Eats in Mobile

With Mardi Gras underway in my hometown of Mobile, I thought I’d showcase a few awesome spots along the Port City. There’s no way you can come to Mobile without eating some fresh gulf seafood. The Half Shell Oyster House is must go to for oysters on the half shell. They also will have a filet mignon, crab cake topped with a crab sauce & a red fish on special during the month of February.
