Is Costa Rica on your bucket list? My recent trip to Central America led me to explore four distinct resorts. Among my favorites are Secrets and Dreams, two renowned brands that I trust. One of the phrases in the country is Pura Vida which could mean anything such as it's wonderful or your welcome.

Dreams, a family-oriented property, is perfect for multi-generational family vacations. The all-inclusive resort offers an adult area pool in the preferred section and a fun-filled kids' area complete with a waterslide. The lush surroundings provide the perfect habitat for encountering playful monkeys, adding to the enchanting experience. No worries, my doors were double locked as I'd preferred to experience them on my side of the glass!
During my stay in the preferred section's King Suite, I enjoyed a range of extra amenities, including a swift check-in process, access to specialty restaurants, and delightful treats such as chips, M&M's, and a bottle of champagne in the room.

Notably, flying into LIB entails a 90-minute drive on a scenic two-lane road, so planning a bathroom break at the airport is advisable.
A mere 20 minutes away from the airport, Secrets awaits as an exclusive, all-inclusive property tailored for adults. It offers a serene ambiance, but getting to the restaurants and pool from your room requires a convenient shuttle ride, available 24/7.

My stay in the preferred category provided breathtaking views, and although I was initially hopeful of encountering fewer wildlife due to the season, I found myself sharing the space with a charmingly large iguana near the pool.
For those seeking an intimate getaway in Costa Rica, I highly recommend Secrets. Additionally, being part of the preferred group grants access to a delightful specialty breakfast restaurant, where I indulged in an authentic Costa Rican meal featuring staples like rice and beans, along with a delightful dish of lobster and eggs.
