2nd Year Anniversary Show

Time flies when you're having fun and I certainly have had a ball not just eating delicious Alabama food, but learning about the stories of the owners. Today marks the 2nd year "Dining Out With Comedienne Joy" has been on the air! I have so many restaurants to be grateful for. The American Ranch House in Tarrant will always have a special place in my heart as they were the first to sign up to be on the show. They converted an old Arby's into a delicious meat and 2 that's the same price for lunch or dinner.

You can always catch those mouth watering oxtails every Friday and Sunday.

Now Jake's Soul Food Cafe is more like family. They were the 1st restaurant that believed in me as a food blogger and before there was a TV show. They've always been my favorite spot for fried chicken! They now have a second location in McCalla Exit 1 off 459 in the Letson Farms shopping center. Finally everyone is trying to lose weight, but when the diet taste like crap you tend not to stick with it. But when you want something healthy and don't have to cook it, you should check out the meal prep company called Heat-N=Eat Healthy. All of the foods are low calorie and great if you are vegan or paleo. Now if you are greedy like me, they have flavorful and filling low calorie meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
