Lots of Chicken &Tamales

Everyone loves a delicious Philly Cheese Steak, but how can you create those same yummy flavor on a Mississippi Tamale? Just stop in a Delta Blues Hot Tamales on the Southside and try it for yourself!

Delta Blues is an amazing spot if you have food allergies like Celacis disease or need a gluten free diet. A couple other favorites of mine there are the wings, corn maaque choux & queso dip. They're nestled on Cobb Lane on the Southside and is a perfect spot as the weather warms up.

Now moving on to my favorite thing in the world...chicken! There's nothing like a delicious chicken wing and the smoked wings from Swamp Monster BBQ in Hoover is definitely on my top ten wings joints. They're crispy, packed full of flavor and comes with a side of Mike's home made white sauce...mmmmm good!

You can always find Swamp Monster around town as the food truck is all over Alabama with the same great food you find in the restaurant.

Finally, if you're looking for a nice night out or business meeting, you must try the chicken picata from Michael's Steak & Seafood. It is lightly dusted and fried, but topped with an amazing, flavorful wine sauce that gives the dish a big burst of melt in your mouth goodness.

Michael's having an amazing Happy Hour Mon-Sat from 3 pm to 6:30 pm as well as lunch specials under $15. I must warn you, when you go for lunch you will not be able to focus the rest of the day because the food is just that good!
