Eat Drink Ride Party Bus

This week, I'm taking you to 2 of the stops on a recent food tour. A nostalgia piece of pizza for me and many others and that's Godfather's Pizza in Homewood, AL. They're located in the old Starbuck's off Lakeshore Pkwy between IHOP & McDonald's
They even have a drive thru window in case you do not want to get out of your car. During lunch, there's always a special under $10 with a giant slice of pizza and one of their savory sides.
Downtown Birmingham is one of my all time favorite stops for an authentic Philly Cheesesteak and that's T-Bone's Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks. Now the owner Anthony Crawford's motto is: "We make cheesesteaks, everyone else makes mistakes!"
He has at least 7-10 different types of cheesesteaks to choose from, I learned he even has hoagies if you want something on the cold. I've never paid any attention to that side of the menu before! But this Italian sub was #JoyApproved! Great cuts of meats, cheese & fresh bread topped with oils and spices.
But those Philly Cheesesteak fries, ooooo-oooo melt in your mouth and is the ultimate comfort food when you don't care what the scale registers. Filled with gooey cheese, tender beef and seasoned just right on a bed of seasoned fries will leave you rubbing your stomach time after time!

The food tour has celebrated many birthdays, bachelorette parties and just some who wanted to hang out with their girlfriends. This particular group wanted a "Taco Tour," Being that I am an outside of the box person, I wanted to take them to a variety of taco spots that I personally like. So the tour included traditional tacos, Philly Cheesesteak Tacos, taco pizza & shrimp tacos.
