Fall Off The Bone Ribs, High End Bar Food & Ethiopian Eats

You want traditional BBQ Ribs for the 4th, but do not feel like standing over a hot grill, call in your order to Mark's Joint in Homewood. His ribs are so tender, you don't need to put your teeth in or sauce. This was a half slab of ribs and after the taping was over, I finished them cold while driving in traffic and I had no regrets! They're just that good! Don't forget the brisket while you're there!

Now, if you want something a little healthier, Mark's Joint has some new additions to his salads like a grilled chicken kabob plate and some fresh fruit. His motto is he's more than bbq as you can get sides like a green leafy salad & jambalaya! When you get your salad, be sure to ask for my favorite salad dressing the avocado lime dressing...oooooweee!

What I love so much about the food at Red Sea is they use a different type of curry..the kind that is not too over powering or make you cough. It is very flavorful. This is the 2nd spot in Bham where I love their beets & lamb as it doesn't have that earthy taste to it. It simply melts in your mouth and they like when you eat with your hands!
