Tuning off for now, but get some cupcakes & cajun eats
When I shot these segments I never thought that today I would be going on hiatus because life has changed for many of us in the hospitality industry. As always, I pray you all support these locally owned restaurants who've had to let go of their staff and figure out how to proceed from here.
So Taco Tech announced on their facebook page they're closed. To Sissy & Gerald, thank you for the opportunity to work with you. Your food was amazing. Prayers to you and your beautiful children.
I know this cupcake is making you drool. We all need a little sweet treat to pick us up. So why don't you do curbside at Cake Effect in Hoover. It is a local bakery that specializes in cake art, but also has a wide array of cupcakes, popcorn and fresh made cinnamon rolls.
My favorite the of the cupcakes are strawberry and keylime. But the 2 pack cinnamon rolls, honey hush is a blessing from on high! Give them a call (205) 803-5669.
Now that you have dessert, what about lunch & dinner??? Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant on Greensprings Hwy has added an amazing cajun menu. Many of you may be familiar with Boateng's that was in Bessemer. The chef, Graham
Boateng is now cooking in Red Sea's kitchen. Now you can get both cuisines under 1 roof. Give them a call for curbside service (205) 848-5154.
Thanks for watching, & I'll see you soon!
