Non-Traditional Christmas Meals
Cowboy Chicken which is a Texas based chain and the only Alabama location in Birmingham on Highway 280 cooks up wood fire rotisserie chicken every day. Just in time for Thanksgiving, they are putting turkey’s on the grill.
Any given day you can walk in and see that juicy tender chicken spinning on the grill at Cowboy Chicken. They too will gladly cater your holiday meal. Cowboy Chicken also serves warm soups and 8 to 10 fireside entrees.
Now, if you want less traditional or just an incredible authentic Philly cheese steak, then make your way to the south side of Birmingham to T-Bones Authentic Philly Cheese Steaks. He serves up delicious traditional phillies up to some of his personal creatives like a Jamaican flavor along with his signature fries and salads. His motto is T-Bones makes cheese steaks, everyone else makes mistakes!
With Christmas just around the corner, more people are opting to have their meals catered in versus staying in the kitchen all day cooking all the traditional fixings like turkey and dressing, collard greens and sweet potato casserole. Dale’s Southern Grill in Hoover has a holiday menu to allow you to spend more time with your family and less time in the kitchen. If you want to be adventurous and cook from home but still have that Dale’s flavor, you can find the recipe off of their website. However, if you want to place your Thanksgiving catering order, they ask you give them a 24-hour notice. Finally if you want to use their catering service for another event, I-Relish Catering will be more than happy to serve you.
As always, please let me know what was your favorite spot from this week’s show or if you enjoyed the food as much as I did! I’d love to hear from you! Please let the featured restaurants know you say it here on Dining Out With Comedienne Joy!
