Hot Whiskey Sour

So how's your rainy Wednesday going? In the words of my friend Tonia Trotter, "If you're struggling to have it, it's ok to pause & reset!" So with that, I got thirsty! I decided to make one of my favorite cocktails which is a Whiskey Sour made with Gentleman Jack. I love GJ because it is smooth and light, goes down nicely. It's perfect for new whiskey lovers!

But I don't always like to be original. So I kicked it up with a little heat by subbing out the plain simple syrup and replacing it with a Habanero Simple Syrup. You know I'm spicy!

Need the recipe? See below for the traditional version.

2 ounces bourbon (Gentleman Jack) 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed (Fresh is Best)

1/2 ounce simple syrup (Monin Habanero Lime) Pinot Nior (Diora)

Here's your shopping list!
